2. What is your return and exchange policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your order to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, the watch must be in the same condition as received: unworn, unused, and including all original packaging, accessories, and documentation.
Customers must provide proof of purchase before initiating a return.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
All returned items are subject to inspection before a refund is processed.
A 15% restocking fee may apply for non-defective returns after inspection.
Please contact our customer service team before sending any item back to receive return instructions.
3. Do you offer a warranty on your watches?
VANKROS offers a one-year warranty from the date of purchase for all orders placed directly through our official website.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, including movement-related issues under normal use.
It does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, water damage caused by improper use, or impacts.
4. What is the difference between automatic and manual winding watches?
Automatic watches are powered by a rotor that winds the mainspring using natural wrist movement during wear.
Manual winding watches require the crown to be turned regularly to power the movement.
5. What is the expected accuracy of your mechanical watches?
Mechanical watches are powered by intricate movements, and slight daily variations in timekeeping are normal.
The accuracy of each watch may vary depending on the specific movement, adjustment, and wearing conditions such as temperature, position, and magnetic fields.
In general, most mechanical movements operate within an approximate range of -20 to +40 seconds per day, and some movements may perform better under optimal conditions.
6. What is the power reserve of the watches you sell?
The power reserve varies depending on the specific movement.
Most VANKROS mechanical watches offer a power reserve ranging from 35 to 72 hours when fully wound.
We recommend checking the product page for the exact specification of each model.
7. Can I overwind my mechanical watch?
Automatic watches cannot be overwound, as they include a built-in slipping clutch mechanism.
For manual winding watches, gently wind the crown until you feel resistance, then stop immediately to avoid damaging the movement.
8. Can I easily change the watch strap myself? Are tools provided?
Yes, many VANKROS models support interchangeable straps.
A professional spring bar tool is recommended to safely remove and install straps without scratching the case.
Protective tape can be applied to the lugs during strap changes to prevent damage.
9. Can I swim or shower with my watch?
The water resistance of our watches varies depending on the model. You can safely swim and even dive with our Mariner, GMT, and Ocean Yacht series.
For other models, watches with 50M (5 ATM) water resistance are strictly suitable for daily activities such as hand washing or light rain.
Regardless of the model, we strongly advise against wearing mechanical watches in the shower, sauna, or hot tub, as hot steam can bypass and damage internal seals and movement components. Always ensure the crown is fully secured (pushed in or screwed down) before any contact with water.
10. What should I do if my watch suddenly runs very fast?
Your watch may be magnetized.
Common household items such as speakers, laptops, refrigerators, and magnetic phone cases can affect the movement.
This is a normal issue in mechanical watches and can usually be corrected quickly using a demagnetizer.
11. How often should my mechanical watch be serviced?
We recommend servicing your mechanical watch every 3 to 5 years depending on usage conditions.
Regular maintenance helps ensure optimal performance, lubrication stability, and long-term reliability of the movement.
